This Thanksgiving, we pause to reflect on the incredible hockey community that makes our journey so incredibly special. As a family immersed in hockey, we are filled with gratitude for the people who bring youth hockey to life.

To the Youth Hockey Coaches: Your passion and dedication shape not only great players but remarkable individuals. Thank you for being role models on and off the ice.

To the Team Managers: Your behind-the-scenes efforts keep everything running smoothly, and your organization is the glue that holds it all together.

To our Referees: Thank you for upholding fairness and integrity on the ice. Your role is vital to the spirit of the game, and your work doesn’t go unnoticed.

To Rink Staff: From creating safe, welcoming arenas to supporting our tournaments, you make every hockey moment possible. We couldn’t do this without you.

To our Pro Shops and Snack Bars: Whether it’s gearing up for a big game or grabbing a quick rink-side snack, you’re a part of every hockey family’s journey.

To our Vendors: You make the tournament weekends extra special with thoughtful and professional quality and your amazing talents. We appreciate all you do to enhance our hockey families experience while providing memorabilia for families to treasure a lifetime.

To our Tournament Volunteers and Scorekeepers: Your time and energy make our events extraordinary. We are endlessly thankful for your time and support. The Showdown Skills Event would be a shadow without you.

To our Hockey Families: Parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family—your sacrifices, cheers, and love create the foundation for every player’s success. Together, we are one strong, united hockey family.

As my father always said, “With hockey, you will always have friends.” The hockey family is more than teammates—it’s a lifetime connection built around the rink, the games, practices, drives, food and fun.
