Our goal is to create an environment for all participants to feel like winners and to be a part of something good. To accomplish our goal we build competitive divisions, provide state-of-the-art fun through our Showdown Skills Event, and give each participant and family a memorable experience to savor for a lifetime.
With over 30 years of hosting tournaments in the Washington D.C. area, Maryland and Nashville, Tennessee, we are the go-to for your tournament weekend.

Hockey Medal Monday at Showdown Tournaments!🏅🏒🏅
Today’s medals are all from the 2021 Crabtown Showdown Hockey Tournament.
For years we awarded a team trophy and individual trophies to the finalists and champions in each tournament division. We did and still do award medals for our Showdown Olympic Skills 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
In 2018, we transitioned to all medals! Here’s a sample of the medals we have awarded during our Crabtown Showdown. Each year, we have a new medal created. For the Crabtown, we always incorporate Crabs and Hockey!

What makes tournaments special is a weekend full of hockey and events! My fondest memories are playing teams from other leagues, the off-ice activities and the team meals!

The 1977 Streetsville Tyke Tournament, in Mississauga, Ontario is one of the many tournaments I participated in over several decades. One of the things that makes this one unique is the photograph, static, and check out the tape marks on the floor…

This is the only tournament I recall participating in that included my player photo as a memento. The photograph solidifies the memory from so many years ago and I am happy that I have it.
